The Salesian Institute Youth Projects transforms lives through four impactful programmes tailored to empower vulnerable youth. The Learn to Live School of Skills provides education and vocational training to unlock potential. The NEETs Youth Employability Programme equips young adults with job readiness training and employment opportunities. The Waves of Change Maritime Programme focuses on Lifeskills and Maritime facilitated training whilst the Stitch Ahead Sewing Programme teaches sewing and entrepreneurial skills, fostering sustainable livelihoods.

The Learn to Live School of Skills
R50 contributes to a nutritious meal enabling learners to concentrate and perform optimally at school
R200 will contribute to vocational material needed for any of the 5 vocational workshops
R500 will provide literacy resources or essential educational materials, empowering children with the academic tools they need to succeed
NEETs Youth Employability Programme
R100 will contribute towards daily meals whilst attending the programme
R200 helps cover some of the transport costs, assisting students to attend classes
R1000 will assist towards the study material needed to complete the 12-month programme
Waves of Change Maritime Programme
R200 donation helps towards the cost of the essential 10-day Lifeskills Programme every beneficiary attends
R500 donation supports a Waves of Change beneficiary in completing the necessary medical examinations
R2000 will assist with the various SAMSA Accredited Maritime training required to obtain a Seaman’s logbook
Stitch Ahead Sewing Programme
R200 helps advance the final design and product development during the course
R500 provides a student with essential vocational materials and haberdashery needed to complete their course
R1000 contribute to general course implementation costs
